SNAIL ATTACK: YOUR VEGETABLE GARDEN HAS NEVER BEEN SO EXCITING!
USEFUL HINTS:
- Your child will become a vegetable gardener and defender against snails! Show him how to arrange the vegetable figures on the 8x8 wooden grid.
- The vegetables can be placed horizontally or vertically, but pssst... that's a secret for the opponent!
- Strategy is key! Think carefully about where you place your vegetables and where you attack.
- A hit? Great, the snail “ate” a vegetable! A failure? No problem, put an X and try again!
HOW TO PLAY:
-
Setting up a double board : Each player has two 8x8 wooden grids. One grid lies flat on the table and is for the vegetables, the other is placed on top and serves as a privacy screen and attack board.
-
Arrange vegetables : Place your vegetables (2, 2, 3, 4, 5 squares in size) horizontally or vertically on the flat grid. This grid remains invisible to the opponent.
-
Start the attack : The players take turns and try to guess the position of the opponent's vegetables on the attached grid.
-
Marking Hits and Misses : Use the snail marker for hits and the X for misses on the attached grid.
-
Victory! : The first player to "eat" all of their opponent's vegetables wins the game.
CREATIVE CUSTOMIZATIONS:
- Let your imagination run wild and personalize your attack board with non-permanent markers. How about some happy snails?
EDUCATIONAL ADDED VALUE:
- Strategic Thinking : Snail Attack promotes strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Hand-eye coordination : Placing the vegetable and snail markers encourages fine motor skills.
- Social Skills : The game encourages interaction and communication between players.
SUSTAINABILITY:
When it's time to say goodbye to your snail attack game, remember it's made from sustainable wood. Consider recycling it or donating it to a school or community center.
